Inviting applications for the role of  Cash Application Specialist with Italian


We are looking for the candidates willing to join us to work for great organization and our customer - Unilever

  • Works with Collection team to make sure specific actions are taken for the customer accounts - investigate deductions, performing reconciliations, assure accurate process of Manual and Automatic Payment Methods
  • Works with Pricing and Rebates team and Treasury Team for accurate payment processing and posting.
  • Booking incoming payments - posting the incoming transfers from the GL on customer accounts using Bank Statement
  • Managing Unapplied Cash - performing the allocation of the current transfers on customer accounts according to documentation sent by the customer
  • Participate to conference calls with the relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring reaching targets of having zero Unallocated/Unapplied Cash at the End of the Month and at the end of the working day
  • Ensuring the incoming payments are cleared timely
  • Performing matchings on customer accounts based on proper documentation received from collections
  • Investigate reason for non-match
  • Reaching out to Customer bank for the information
  • Performing below Threshold Write Off according to the procedure on a Weekly basis / on a Monthly basis / anytime there is a special request from the Collection Specialist/Audit team
  • Performing Final Settlements WO according to the Procedure on a Monthly Basis before Month End closure
  • Linking deductions and credit note to Dispute Cases
  • Complete any other job-related tasks assigned by the operation management functions 

Minimum qualifications

  • Fluent in English & local language for served country – Italian (B2/C1)
  • Ability to work with various IT applications (SAP, PEGA, AR Collect, reporting tools, etc.)
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability
  • University Graduate (min. Bachelor)
  • Customer Focus (focus on external and internal customers)
  • Team Alignment (team player; supports and respects others)
  • Accountability and responsibility (personally driving change and using operational discipline to deliver on the promise)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to cooperate with external and internal customers
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Previous experience in Cash Applications
  • Strong analytical skills
