We are seeking a Country Business Partner - Team Leader who will oversee and coordinate the accounting operations within the GSC towards dedicated Metro country. This role involves managing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and optimizing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance. On top of managing direct reports in JE&MEC (Reporting Team), the role is to cooperate with other GSC teams responsible to support given country to ensure high quality accounting services, efficient communication within GSC and towards local organization in the country and corporate functions.

Country Business Partner / GA Team Leader
Workplace: Szczecin, Plac Brama Portowa 1
Key Responsibilities:
- Team (People) Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Process Coordination: Oversee wide scope of the daily accounting operations in GSC, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, treasury, intercompany, payments and financial reporting – E2E accounting process.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities comply with internal policies, group governance requirements, and accounting standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and cooperate with Process Owner Organization to implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of accounting operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for accounting processes and initiatives. Perform the regular Service Governance Board meetings with main stakeholders from GSC and local organization.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
- Project Management – lead and coordinate the deployment projects related to the country coming from internal (e.g. standardization) or external (Corporate) needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification will be an added value.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role. Experience in SSC/BPO/GBS organization is preferable.
- Openness to business travel and willingness to work in a hybrid mode (eight home office days per month)
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective workload management skills.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices in the wholesale business.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Change management practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both in Polish and English)
- Knowledge of German (nice to have).
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
