Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and project manage single/multiple country implementations in parallel from planning, initiation through to deployment
  • Deployment delivery management for the Workday Financials/PSA Solutions.
  • Provide strategic input and guidance on implementation methodology to drive refinement and continuous improvement of the overall delivery
  • Drive a consistent implementation playbook and adhere to global design where feasible
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communications to ensure global design is followed, project scope is managed, budgets and implementation timelines are upheld.
  • Manage all stakeholder relationships including, country CFO’S, country controllers and senior business executives
  • Provide guidance and project health updates to the PMO and senior sponsors
  • Responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all project phases
  • Drive Issue resolution, decision making and communication/acceptance
  • Provide project support to country champions and to additional in country resources throughout the lifecycle to ensure country execution / adherence to plans.
  • Provide 1st line post Go Live Support
  • Transition countries from project support to BAU during the stabilisation period
  • Role requires frequent interaction with global based project resources.
  • International Travel will be needed as required (approximately 30%)

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 year’s relevant work experience in an area of Financial Deployment Role, with a focus on Financial Systems and Organizational Transitions. Consulting and/or Project Management background preferred.
  • Workday Financials or Other Financial Application Experience.
  • Strong presentation skills; excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Accuracy, thoroughness and strong attention to detail with a focus on Execution.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to develop and sustain relationships in an international context / across time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task with outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound business judgment and make decisions.
